Try to arrive as early as you can. All mass transit and auto traffic in and around the NY/NJ viewing area will be heavy. The parking lots in the park will fill early. The light rail parking lot will be open. There will be a shuttle that will take vistors to other viewing areas in the park. The shutles may also be crowded. If you take a shutle make sure to get off were the Liberty State Park Water Taxi docks. This also is your area to get onboard for the Little Lady II Fireworks Cruise.

You may also want to walk. For those who have never been to Liberty State Park, it is beautiful! A blend of natural beauty, gorgeous boats in the marina, all set with the best view of NYC as a backdrop.

Relax and do not stress out. Enjoy the people and the crowds knowing that soon you will be floating on the edge of our country's greatest fireworks display on our nations birthday

The park authorities will close the park to vehicle traffic due to overcrowding.

If you are coming in from NYC the Liberty State Park Water taxi is the quickest and easiest way. We have prepaid tickets also on our Reservation form to further speed your comute.

The picture to your left shows some of the parking ticket machines.

If you have used the new NYC parking machine that vend a ticket which is then placed on your dash - it is similiar. Instructions are posted on the machines.

The cost is according to their web site either $2.00 or $3.00.

In addition, you must fill in the Fireworks Reservation Form and mail it with the payment. We accept only cash, checks or money orders.

If the Macy's Fireworks are cancelled due to weather or we are unable to get on the water due to the weather or harbor restrictions you will receive a full refund .
